Piece #3:
Space Utopia

This piece is inspired by the Sci-Fi collage I made; browsing through a lot of pastel space images, I found a lot of inspiration from the selections I saw. I used techniques from the sketchbook project and new techniques as well. Such as creating the reflection in the pool was new to me and I had not experimented with making reflections before.  To add to the utopia theme, I added a sculpture by Hajime Sorayama, a famous Japanese illustrator,  to supplement the surrealism of this piece.
